The volume slider is good but feels a little cheap to be honest it, but it's in a good position, and I have 3 softwares to control volume.I really don't need speakers now, these headphones once you crank up the volume can quite literally be used as stereo speakers. I've used this headset for a couple months by now and it has some pretty great advantages over your other basic headset, I am a person who drops things every second and these have been dropped, stepped one, sat on (hey I didn't see it okay?) and this has not had a single crack.Now compared to my previous headset (Logitech G230) this is very lightweight but not in the sense of cheapness, it really has memory foam-not that fake memory foam but the real type, I would sleep on it if I could, and the great part is it would survive.Now the Mic is really good, I can not use the Mic on the Desktop I use as my daily driver but that's my desktop's issue, and when I have used it on my laptop it comes out with clean sound, BTW the flip up to mute is a great feature.
